OFTEN IMITATED…

“[Imitation] is the homage which mediocrity pays to that which is not mediocre.” — Oscar Wilde

But sometimes other people try to pretend they are you and lure women into vulnerable situations. These men should shudder in fear of the possibility that I one day meet them in person.

Luckily for me - there is only one actual “YoniMaster” and it is me, and I can be found at yonimaster.com.

I actually invented the word “yonimaster” which I had never seen before I invented it years ago. Today there are suddenly several self-proclaimed “yonimasters.” One in the Phillippines has been accused of sexual misconduct. A few recent ones in Russia are building an online presence. There’s even a young and talented hip-hop artist from Texas who goes by yoni-master. And someone from Tempe Arizona is asking “Yoni-Master” followers to subscribe to their email list.

Worst of all, there is some loser in Queens with a 718 telephone number masquerading as “YoniMaster Rick.” He often finds women posting online and offers them free or heavily discounted yoni massages. He describes himself in an eerily similar manner to how I describe myself on my official website. The only problem is that he is a fraud. I received one report from a client of this pseudo-YoniMaster that in the middle of her service with him, she noticed that he had, without warning, removed his pants and underwear and offered to provide some “additional services.” My blood boils just thinking of this person. To be certain, the real YoniMaster Rick is me, my website is yonimaster.com, my phone number is (631) 986-8100, and my email address is rick@yonimaster.com. Anyone offering any other contact information is not me and should probably be avoided.

I believe that there are enough women demanding this service that there is plenty of business to go around. I don’t mind healthy competition, and I even concede that there might be another legitimate yoni massage provider whose different style or techniques might be a better fit for some women. However, I am only aware of one other professional and trustworthy yoni massage practitioner in New York who has regularly received very positive reviews from clients who have later seen me. Because there are so few formally trained professional providers, I think it is essential that any woman seeking such a personal service do her homework first. Rushing into a “discount” yoni massage is usually a bad idea, and sometimes even dangerous. For such an intimate experience, you want a provider who you can be sure is safe— even if it costs more. (It usually does.)

Before any woman agrees to a service from a yoni massage provider, she should do three things. First, she should ask him about his training and experience. If he suggests that he received his yoni massage training “online” or “on the internet,” do not use this provider. One of the benefits of formal in-person yoni massage training is that it tests a man’s self-control and respect for the trust given to him by the client. You never want to be a man’s first yoni massage client— as you will not determine whether or not he is worthy of your trust until maybe it’s too late. If he is at all evasive or defensive about any questions you have for him, that is a huge red flag and you should not use that provider.

Second, every prospective yoni massage client should ask to speak with the provider on the telephone before booking. And before speaking, she should review his website or other information about him online. She should ask verifying questions and keep him talking. Find out how long he’s been performing the services, what happens if he is attracted to a client, what difficult situations he has encountered with clients and listen to his answers. If he is evasive or delivers only blunt answers- move on to another provider. Most experienced providers know how to address common concerns of new clients. Similarly, if he is too chatty or offers too much detail or information about other clients- move along. I’m sure you don’t want him talking about you to his next client. Confidentiality and discretion are of paramount importance and if he doesn’t understand that, he’s not worthy of your time. Finally, if he has any difficulty speaking your language or communicating with you, find another provider. It is essential that your provider can effectively communicate with you, and that you can communicate with him. I actually insist on a phone call with every new client before our first service, as it gives me a chance to explain the service to her, and it allows her the opportunity to ask me any questions she has for me.

Finally, you should always ask for client references. I have a number of regular clients who are happy to provide honest feedback to women interested in my services. Many of these clients were themselves extremely nervous before their first service, and they have agreed to provide these references for other nervous women with questions that they might feel more comfortable asking another woman. I am always happy to provide real client references. If the provider refuses or claims that confidentiality prevents them from sharing client information— you know that he probably does not have any clients so satisfied that they are happy to provide honest feedback to other women. Move on.

Many new yoni massage providers will promote themselves with fake positive reviews. I used to be regularly accused of making up the reviews and positive testimonials posted about me and my services online, but as the number has grown, this is an accusation I face much less frequently (thankfully). If you cannot find much about a provider other than a few positive reviews, tell them:

“I saw that you had some really positive reviews online. May I have the phone number of a recent client so I could reach out and discuss her experience with you?”

Most of the time, this will weed out the fakers. And if they are willing to give you a client’s phone number (never get a text or email address only- as these can be faked), ask them a few questions about the client before calling her. For example, ask when she last was serviced by him, what part of the city they met in, etc. Then when you speak with her, confirm that all of the information matches his and if it doesn’t— find another provider.

So ladies, please be aware that this field has many unscrupulous and dangerous men out there hoping to prey upon vulnerable new clients. Do your homework and don’t skimp on such an important service!

And you can always just start by booking with me and save yourself a lot of time.
